I do think a lot of that has to do with our culture. Food is such a go-to for connection. It feels like it’s just how our culture is wired, right? Coffee dates, dinner plans, brunch with friends… it’s the default. But just because it’s the norm doesn’t mean it has to be the only way to connect.
This isn’t about making food-focused hangouts a bad thing (because let’s be real, who doesn’t love a good meal?), but more about mixing it up—like when we were kids and just did stuff without needing a snack involved, lol. It’s really about getting comfortable doing things again.
