T: 3 Healthy Living Tips
☀️ You feel food guilt because you believe you just did something wrong by eating that. Eliminate the food guilt by reminding yourself you did nothing wrong.
☀️ Nobody knows the size of your pants; buy the ones that fit.
☀️If hating your body worked, it would have already worked. Can we try something different?
B: 2 Book Recommendations
📚For Self Improvement (on Self Esteem): The High 5 Habit: Take Control of Your Life with One Simple Habit by Mel Robbins
When I read this, I felt like I highlighted the whole book. I shouldn't have expected anything less, as I LOVE Mel Robbins, but this was no disappointment. If you struggle with self-esteem, I invite you to try the high-five habits explained in this book. Powerful and captivating!
📚For Fun (Romance): Things We Never Got Over by Lucy Score
This book is THICK, but I read it in a day. Not joking. I couldn’t put it down. I usually find romance predictable and boring (I am more of a thriller gal), BUT this one was not like that. It was spicy, hilarious, dramatic, and just fun
Quick Synopsis (from Amazon):
Naomi wasn’t just running away from her wedding. She was riding to the rescue of her estranged twin to Knockemout, Virginia, a rough-around-the-edges town where disputes are settled the old-fashioned way…with fists and beer. Usually in that order.
Too bad for Naomi, her evil twin hasn’t changed at all. After helping herself to Naomi’s car and cash, Tina leaves her with something unexpected. The niece Naomi didn’t know she had. Now she’s stuck in town with no car, no job, no plan, and no home with an 11-year-old going on thirty to take care of.
There’s a reason Knox doesn’t do complications or high-maintenance women, especially not the romantic ones. But since Naomi’s life imploded before him, the least he can do is help her out of her jam. And just as soon as she stops getting into new trouble, he can leave her alone and return to his peaceful, solitary life.
At least, that’s the plan until the trouble turns into real danger.
