Happy T-B-J Tuesday! Here are 3 healthy living Tips, 2 Book recommendations (one self-improvement and one fun), and 1 Journal prompt to ponder this week!

T: 3 Healthy Living Tips

☀️ Ways to add structure to your eating without it feeling rigid: practice putting all food on a plate or in a bowl, practice sitting down at a table when eating, and aim to build  your meals in a way that is filling and satisfying

☀️ Instead of: Stepping on the scale *just to see* > Let’s Try: Nope, not doing that today. I don't need those numbers to validate my worth.

☀️ 3 ways to calm body changes in recovery: dig deeper, change the focus, and use this as a growth opportunity… Click here to learn how!

B: 2 Book Recommendations (one self-improvement and one fun)

📚For Self Improvement (on ED Recovery): Life Without Ed By Jenni Schaefer

I read this book when I was in outpatient treatment for binge eating, and it was EVERYTHING I needed to continue pushing forward. Jenni Shaefer does a fantastic job at sharing how an eating disorder can manifest and how to combat it. I had never felt so seen and heard as I did reading this. If you are in recovery, I could not recommend this book more!

📚For Fun (Thriller) Rock, Paper, Scissors by Alice Feeney

Oh my gosh – this was a FUN read. Alice Feeney is quickly becoming one of my favorite thriller authors. This was extremely engaging and had me on the edge of my seat the entire read. If you are looking for a new fast-paced thriller, give this a read!

Quick Synopsis (from Amazon): Things have been wrong with Mr. and Mrs. Wright for a long time. When Adam and Amelia win a weekend away to Scotland, it might be just what their marriage needs. Self-confessed workaholic and screenwriter Adam Wright has lived with face blindness his whole life. He can’t recognize friends or family or even his own wife. Every anniversary the couple exchange traditional gifts–paper, cotton, pottery, tin–and each year, Adam’s wife writes him a letter that she never lets him read. Until now. They both know this weekend will make or break their marriage, but they didn’t randomly win this trip. One of them is lying, and someone doesn’t want them to live happily ever after. Ten years of marriage. Ten years of secrets. And an anniversary they will never forget.
