Happy T-B-J Tuesday! Here are 3 healthy living Tips, 2 Book recommendations (one self-improvement and one fun), and 1 Journal prompt to ponder this week!

T: 3 Healthy Living Tips

☀️ 3 Reframes for stopping food guilt

  • The brain we are not engaging in those thoughts today!
  • I choose to enjoy this food. So I will do just that!
  • Obsessing over food isn’t the life I want. I’m okay!

☀️Instead of: Nobody else is eating, so I shouldn’t eat either (but you’re hungry) > Let’s Try: Ignoring my hunger has never worked for me. My body is asking for energy now. So I will listen to that.

☀️Healing is not becoming the best version of yourself. Rather, healing is letting the worst version of yourself be loved.

B: 2 Book Recommendations (one self-improvement and one fun)

📚For Self Improvement (on Healing Your Relationship With Food): Anti-Diet by Christy Harrison

This is an incredible supplement to https://amzn.to/3zAhZoo. Christy Harrison does an incredible job at breaking down diet culture, sharing with us why we feel the way we do around food and body and how to break out of it! If you are working on healing your relationship with food and looking for additional reads, pick this up next!

📚For Fun (Thriller): Little Secrets by Jennifer Hillier

This was one of those books that sat on my shelf for MONTHS. Then I finally picked it up and immediately asked, ‘why did it take me so long to pick this up?’ I was hooked from the first page, with an ending I still think about!

Quick Synopsis (from Amazon): Overwhelmed by tragedy, a woman desperately tries to save her marriage in award-winning author Jennifer Hillier's Little Secrets, a riveting novel of psychological suspense. All it takes to unravel a life is one little secret… Marin had a perfect life. Married to her college sweetheart, she owns a chain of upscale hair salons, and Derek runs his own company. They're admired in their community and are a loving family―until their world falls apart the day their son Sebastian is taken.

A year later, Marin is a shadow of herself. The FBI search has gone cold. The publicity has faded. She and her husband rarely speak. She hires a P.I. to pick up where the police left off, but instead of finding Sebastian, she learns that Derek is having an affair with a younger woman. This discovery sparks Marin back to life. She's lost her son; she's also not about to lose her husband. Kenzie is an enemy with a face, which means this is a problem Marin can fix.
