Ryann again, back with another delish recipe to try out this week… and potentially add to your meal rotation! If you haven’t had the pleasure of eating a good tuna niçoise salad, then prepare to have your life changed. (Not to be dramatic or anything 😉)

Ingredients

Instructions

    Boil the Eggs

  1. Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover them with water.
  2. Bring the water to a boil over high heat.
  3. Once boiling, reduce the heat to medium and simmer for 9-12 minutes for hard-boiled eggs.
  4. After cooking, immediately transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water to cool. Once cooled, peel and cut them in half.
  5. Assemble the Salad:

  6. In a large salad bowl, arrange the mixed greens as the base of your salad.
  7. Add Tuna and Other Ingredients:

  8. Flake the canned tuna over the greens.
  9. Scatter the cherry tomato halves, black olives, sliced red onion, and green beans on top.
  10. Top with Eggs:

  11. Place the halved hard-boiled eggs on the salad.
  12. Sprinkle with Capers (Optional):

  13. If you like, sprinkle capers over the salad for an extra burst of flavor.
  14. Season and Dress:

  15. Season the salad with a pinch of salt and black pepper.
  16. Drizzle olive oil and red wine vinegar over the salad as your dressing. You can adjust the amounts to taste.
  17. Toss or Arrange:

  18. You can either gently toss all the ingredients together in the bowl or arrange them neatly on individual plates for a more composed presentation.
  19. Serve:

  20. Your simple and delicious Tuna Niçoise Salad is ready to serve! Enjoy this classic French salad as a light and satisfying meal.
