I know this may sound weird, but TRUST ME on this one…. you need to add savory toaster waffles to your list of meals to make this week! I made this plate for lunch recently, but it would also serve as an awesome savory breakfast or breakfast-for-dinner option. This toppings combo with a touch of heat and that delicious waffle-y flavor is everything. These savory sriracha avocado toaster waffles are truly a must-make!

This meal is already dairy-free, and it is also super easy to make gluten-free! Just swap out regular waffles for your favorite gluten-free version. Some of my favorite GF brands are Trader Joe’s, Good & Gather, and Vans. If you wanted to take this to the next level, add some cheese and tomato for some extra fat, color, and flavor!

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. toast your waffles
  2. prep your eggs as you like them (I prefer a runny yolk)
  3. mash avocado in a bowl with lemon juice, salt, and pepper
  4. spread avocado mash on toasted waffles
  5. add eggs on top
  6. season with EBTB, salt, and pepper
  7. drizzle sriracha over waffles and enjoy!

Notes

  • Make this gluten-free by swapping out the regular waffles for GF ones! I love the GF frozen waffles from Trader Joe’s
