Also, to those who may be thinking this… Heck no, fruit in salads isn’t just a ‘summer thing!’ Or I should say, it doesn’t have to be! Strawberry Chicken Salad with Blue Cheese and Pecans
Description

- Toast the Pecans: Place the pecan halves in a dry skillet over medium heat. Toast them for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently until they become fragrant and slightly golden. Remove from heat and let them cool.
- Assemble the Salad: In a large salad bowl, combine the mixed greens, sliced strawberries, cooked chicken, crumbled blue cheese, and toasted pecans.
- Dress the Salad: Drizzle the prepared dressing over the salad. Start with a portion of the dressing and add more as needed, depending on your taste. Toss the salad gently to evenly coat all the ingredients with the dressing.
- Serve: Serve immediately with a slice of fresh french bread and enjoy!
