Description
Picture this: plump, succulent shrimp, kissed by a zesty marinade and perfectly seared to golden perfection, then nestled into warm, soft tortillas with a zesty slaw. They’re seriously amazing. Ingredients
Instructions
- Slaw Prep: Take a large mixing bowl and add the shredded cabbage, shredded carrots, chopped cilantro, juice from one lime, finely chopped serrano pepper, and a good sprinkle of sugar. Mix it all up!
- Shrimp Preparation: Let the frozen shrimp thaw, then give them a gentle pat-dry (“like really make sure they’re dry” -Grayson). Sprinkle a pinch of salt, a dash of paprika, a little garlic powder, and a generous grind of black pepper onto the shrimp.
- Shrimp Cooking: Heat up a pan with a touch of olive oil or butter. It should sizzle when you flick a drop of water onto it. Gently place your seasoned shrimp in the pan, and let them sizzle until they turn a beautiful pink color. Flip them over when it’s their time to shine on the other side.
- Taco Assembly: Toast your favorite flour or corn tortillas until they’re golden brown (we go for flour). Fill your tortillas with the cooked shrimp and the zesty slaw you made earlier. It’s a delicious stack-up!
Notes
- Flavor Fun (Optional): Want to add even more flavor? Top your tacos with Chipotle Bitchin Sauce or Guacamole. It’s like adding the final touch to your masterpiece. And don’t forget the chips and salsa for the ultimate combination!
