** Side note for anyone who struggles with eating “unhealthified” desserts (or desserts, period) **

I just wanted to share that a healthy, balanced diet includes foods that make you happy and nourish your soul! If your current relationship with food doesn’t have room for your favorite eats and treats, it is all the more reason to whip up a batch of these muffins to work on accepting all foods back into your life! Because food is more than just fuel to move, and you deserve to enjoy all the yummy baked goods that make you happy (without a side of guilt) ❤️

If you struggle with food guilt after eating, give this blog post a quick read, then come back to this easy muffin recipe and let’s get to baking!

P.S. Are you hesitant to make these muffins (or any baked goods, for that matter) because, if you have one, you won’t be able to stop until they’re all gone? Because, for some reason, baked goods are your ‘can’t-stop-once-I-start’ food? Then I highly recommend listening to this podcast episode to learn how to change this!

P.P.S. Want to enjoy muffins for breakfast but find that they always leave you hungry in an hour? Try pairing a warmed muffin with some yogurt (see photo below) or crumbling one on top of oats for some extra satiety!
