In my book, *very* few things are better than the peanut butter and chocolate flavor combination. 🥜 As a peanut butter fan, I could have some version of this delicious combo on the daily! Today, I’m sharing this classic duo in protein shake form… It’s simple, requires just a handful of ingredients, and is the perfect quick, on-the-go snack option for busy days.
This recipe uses chocolate protein powder, which I always have on hand. My go-to brand for protein is Vega, a vegan protein brand. I have used this brand for years, as I have a sensitive stomach (😅) and this plant protein leaves me feeling my best! If you’re looking for a new brand to try out and have a sensitive tummy too, I highly recommend Vega!
If you’re not into protein powders, no worries! Sub for a scoop of plain or vanilla greek yogurt for the protein factor and a spoonful of cocoa or cacao powder for the chocolate element. 🍫

P.S. Looking for another smoothie recipe now that summer is here? Try out this refreshing and delish blueberry vanilla smoothie!
P.P.S. If you struggle with feeling guilty after eating snacks (or eating, period), then you need to check out Ry’s recent blog post. This piece shares why you feel guilty after eating, as well as how to stop feeling this way. Read about food guilt here!
